Cruise industry spending created 7K jobs in 2014/2015, survey says

According to a study of the cruise industry over the last 'cruise year,' the $373.1 million in cruise tourism expenditure over the year generated 4,568 direct jobs - with a wage bill of $81 million - and when the indirect contributions are added, the industry spending generated a total employment contribution of 7,954 jobs and $138.5 million in wage income in The Bahamas.
